This memory card game contains 25 cards (12 matching pairs plus an instruction card). It can be played with one or more players and is a great learning exercise, enhancing cognition and memory.
Children are challenged to memorise the locations of cards set out in a grid, and at the same time, through playing they become familiar with a range of Aboriginal tools.
Card images include: Boomerang, Clapsticks, Coolamon, Didgeridoo, Dilly Bag, Emu Caller, Fish Trap, Grindstone, Shell Fish Hook, Shield, Spear and Woomera.
Card size is 7.5cm x 10.5xm and all are printed on 300gsm gloss laminate for durability. Each pack is presented in a cardboard box which is sealed in plastic.
The founder of Riley Callie is Debbie Hoger, a Dunghutti woman. In developing these resources, Debbie drew upon knowledge about her own cultural heritage, as well as her educational background in Anthropology and Science.
