Our cultural doll bundle is a great way to spark conversation around differing religions and cultures. The following dolls are included:
1. Muslim Inspired Doll - An amazing soft cuddly doll wearing the shalwar kameez( top and pants) and the Hijab (head scarf). This outfit is traditional for some Islamic women. Facial features are hand embroidered and are made by a fair trade organisation called Artisans Effort. The doll stands approx. 30cms tall.
2. Arabian Doll Pair - A multicultural pair of standing dolls wearing traditional Arabian clothing. Height of dolls is approx. 18cms. Facial features are hand painted.
3. Bangladesh Fishing Story - This very unique story set gives children the opportunity to learn about the Bangladeshi culture. It is a wonderful multicultural teaching resource and provides opportunities for learning and imaginative play. The set contains 2 25cm dolls (the man with the fishing net and the woman carrying the fishing bag), a laminated photo, a laminated map of Bangladesh and a laminated story. All this in an organic cotton drawstring bag! Each doll is 25cm tall.
4. Indian Couple - A pair of dolls wearing traditional Indian/Bengali clothing. The height of each doll is approx. 18cms. The clothing is hand stitched and their facial features are hand painted.
